Service

Dr. Hoover will travel to your home to meet with your family and pet. A sedative will be provided for your pet via a quick injection (similar to getting a vaccine). The sedation will relieve anxiety and begin a peaceful sleep. After your pet is sedated, a second medication will be administered which will complete the euthanasia portion of the procedure. For families interested in a small keepsake, a paw print, nose print and/or a tuft of hair in a small glass trinket will be provided. The cost of in-home euthanasia service is $435.
Aftercare can be provided by the family by home burial or contacting your local funeral home/crematorium. If preferred, Peaceful Paws Clarion can transport your pet for aftercare to Goble Funeral Home in Clarion for cremation. If cremation is performed, ashes will be available for your family to pick up at the funeral home located at 330 Wood Street in Clarion. The ashes will be presented in a black, plastic, well secured container unless special arrangements are made with the funeral home. They can be contacted at 814-226-7730 to discuss personalized urns and memorials. Payment for cremation service through Goble Funeral Home will be collected in one payment along with the euthanasia service fees to simplify the process for your family.
